Elsa and Fred (2014)

"Elsa and Fred" is the story of two people who at the end of the road, discover that it's never too late to love and make dreams come true.

I was hired to design replica and supervise building of a section of The Trevi Fountain in Rome. It was to be seamlessly integrated with footage of the actual fountain (which had yet to be shot) during post-production. There were no known measurements or other specific details about the fountain made available to us. I was able to extrapolate the size of the fountain based upon google images that included people standing in the fountain. I started with a miniature model, and then the team tackled the full-scale, working replica. We were able to match the size and color almost perfectly, and the project was a success.
